India, with a population of 1.3 billion, is the world’s second most populous country. It produces an average of more than 100,000 tons of solid waste per day. The high industrial growth has brought with it environmental impacts such as air & water pollution and high amounts of waste. As the Indian government is committed to promote “Clean India” it has placed high emphasis on clean technologies that can help grow India’s economy while at the same time help tackle its environmental challenges.
The “Taiwan Green Products Pavilion” showcases 12 Taiwanese companies in two major categories, namely Green Lifestyle & Air Quality to provide India with solutions and promote clean cities. For instance, New Hua Biotechnology’s Nu-Stone Imitation Stone Spray Paint is made of fine sand mixed with pure natural resin. Compared to stones which could drop off when there is an earthquake, NuStone is safer and more environmental-friendly and ideal for high-rises, office buildings and houses.
PM2.5 Control Association is a nonprofit professional organization that promotes the development of domestic PM2.5 and air pollution monitoring and control technologies. It assists Taiwanese manufacturers to reduce air pollutant emissions, and promote environmental protection and human health. DACIAN is a specialist on membrane related products using membrane materials without any unnecessary additives. Some of its products include washable PM2.5 mask, anti-pollution face mask, pillow protector to block dust-mites/bacteria and window screen PM2.5 filter. These companies can assist India to promote a healthier and cleaner air for its citizens.
Ever-Clear is a water treatment total solution provider, offering water treatment evaluation / design /construction and commissioning service.
